Sorry to give one post right after another, but I'm trying to get information up here quickly. We're only 87 days and 23 hours away!
Should you decide you want to give us a material gift to celebrate out nuptials and you would like some guidance, Dylan and I have registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Crate and Barrel.
I may steal an idea from my friend Chelsea (Congrats, Chels!) and you could see a top 5 items in the near future.

Announcements!

Our close friend, Patrick King has been laboring over our wedding announcements (and responding amazingly to my every whim) and he just sent me the final draft. They are better than I ever imagined and Patrick is ridiculously versatile. Congrats and thanks for venturing from your aesthetic to something completely off-the-wall like "wedding announcement." It's a great personal touch to the planning that makes everything just right.
You can check out more of Patrick's work here.

Countdown to October 3, 2009 - 88 days

Hi all! This site is meant to be an informative and entertaining, containing wedding info for the wedding between Allison Nicole Beissner and Dylan Ray Fischer as well as antidotes about our lives together.
We will be getting married on October 3, 2009 in New Braunfels, TX on the Faust Street Footbridge at 5pm with the reception immediately following at the Marriott Courtyard in their ballroom. Parking for the ceremony will be at the parking lot at the corner of McKenna Ave. and Porter St. Larry Lange & His Lonely Knights will be providing the music and entertainment at the reception and Chris Taylor will be there to perform the first dance song ("Underneath the Tree of Stars" from Brand New Ache). Everyone is welcome to rent a room and spend the night at the hotel as long as you mention you are there for our wedding when you book the room. Here is a map with directions on how to get from the bridge to the hotel.
That's all for now, but keep checking in for more updates about our important day.
